Infinity Room
Notes | Every day from 11am to 6pm (closed on Monday) |
An immersive installation by Turkish artist Refik Anadol, Infinity Room is an integral part of his research project "Temporary Immersive Environment Experiments". This project aims at deconstructing the framework of an illusory space and transgressing the normal boundaries of the viewing experience. The conventional flat cinema projection screen is transformed into a three dimensional kinetic and architectonic space of visualisation. Light and reflection effects are the major element in the experiment, used to blur and interconnect the boundaries between the two realms: actual/fictional and physical/virtual.
